Pembroke Castle is set to come alive this September with the sound of music as it hosts the charity fundraiser ‘Voices at the Castle – A Weekend of Song’, featuring sensational tenor Russell Watson, a host of choirs and a picnic under the stars.
It promises to be an unforgettable weekend of entertainment dedicated to supporting The Paul Sartori Foundation’s invaluable hospice at home services and The Pembroke Castle Trust’s ongoing conservation efforts.
This spectacular event, taking place on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13, 2025, promises two incredible nights of live performances. It will bring together outstanding local talent and the world-renowned voice of tenor Russell Watson, all in the stunning setting of Pembroke Castle.
Friday night will be a celebration of local talent. For just £25 per ticket, guests will experience a magical evening featuring four exceptional Pembrokeshire choirs: Pembroke Choir, Tenby Choir, The Paul Sartori Community Choir, and Pembrokeshire Pop Voices. These talented groups will showcase the rich musical heritage of the county, offering a night filled with harmonies and heartfelt performances.
Saturday night will feature a star-studded performance. Saturday night’s show is set to be truly special, with tickets priced at £35. The event will feature the internationally acclaimed tenor Russell Watson, whose powerful and emotive performances have captivated audiences worldwide. Supporting him will be the wonderful Pembrokeshire ladies’ group, Bella Voce, adding elegance and passion to this spectacular evening.
Partake in a picnic under the stars. Guests are invited to make the most of this unique experience with a picnic-style event. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets, and picnics, while a charity bar and food stalls will be available on-site, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
This event will support vital causes. All proceeds from ‘Voices at the Castle’ will be split between The Paul Sartori Foundation and Pembroke Castle Trust. Helping to fund essential hospice at home services in Pembrokeshire, The Paul Sartori Foundation provides much-needed care and support to individuals and families during difficult times. The Pembroke Castle Trust aims to conserve and protect the magnificent Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII, for present and future generations so that they understand the cultural significance of this iconic Pembrokeshire ancient monument. Supporting these charities during this weekend of song is not just a celebration of music but also a beacon of community support and generosity.
