Dubbed “the real-life Pitch Perfect”, Inner Voices are coming to Narberth on Friday, April 4 as part of their first national tour, Harmonies Across Wales.

The Cardiff-based group gained national recognition in 2024 after winning the UK Open A Cappella competition, and were later featured on Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball’s debut album.

‘The Inner Voices: Harmonies Across Wales’ is a fully live concert celebrating Wales’ rich culture of vocal harmony with a modern a cappella twist. As current UK Open champions, the Inner Voices have made a name for themselves with their powerful harmonies and dynamic mix of contemporary pop, emotive ballads and traditional folk songs.

The tour setlist will include classic ballads, pop hits, and traditional folk songs from a range of genres and eras in both Welsh and English. The Queens Hall Narberth performance will also have a performance from Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir.

“Wales is known as the ‘Land of Song’, and we want to really explore and celebrate that heritage in a fun, accessible way,” says James Taylor, co-founder of the Inner Voices.

Charlie Pittaway, who also co-leads the Inner Voices adds: “A cappella and vocal harmony are iconic parts of the Welsh and Celtic cultures that influence our group so integrally, so it only makes sense to celebrate Welsh music even more by collaborating with traditional choirs,” adds .

Supported by Arts Council Wales, Inner Voices are also delivering a special one-day choir event on Saturday, April 5 in collaboration with SPAN Arts, where members of the public are welcome to join the Inner Voices with a rendition of Elvis Prestley’s classic song, Can’t Help Falling in Love.

Tickets to the Queens Hall Narberth show on April 4 are available from thequeenshall.org.uk or you can call Box Office weekdays on 01834 861212.
