One family held a mini pancake race in the rain in Tenby on Shrove Tuesday, the official RNLI event having been cancelled.

As heavy rain set in, Tenby Lifeboats RNLI issued apologies to all who were coming, “but the weather is against us this year.”

Paul Banfield said his family “didn’t get the cancellation message so we ran our own little one!”

“Oh, this is fabulous,” commented Tenby Lifeboats.  “Hopefully next year we can keep the weather at bay for everyone.”
