The Torch Theatre, Milford Haven is proud to partner with Pembrokeshire Pride to host a special screening of the acclaimed British coming-of-age drama ‘Beautiful Thing’ (rating 15) on Friday, June 7 at 7.30pm.

This powerful and uplifting film tells the story of two teenage neighbours who discover a romantic connection amidst difficult family circumstances.

But this is more than just a movie night. It's an opportunity to join together in celebrating love, pride, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. Beginning at 7pm, guests are invited to the theatre bar to mingle with members of Pembrokeshire Pride before the 87-minute film (rated 15).

“Beautiful Thing captures the joy, confusion, and complexity of adolescent self-discovery with tremendous heart,” said Lewis George, Community Engagement Officer. “We're honoured to share this moving story and create a warm, inclusive space for conversation and connection.”

Throughout the evening, Pride representatives will be available to chat, provide community resources, and highlight support services for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.
