It is estimated that 14.6 million people in Ukraine will need humanitarian assistance in 2024. Made by members of St Mary’s Church Pembroke and Inner Wheel, knitted blankets on display at a coffee morning at the church will be taken in August to the Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership (SHAP) to be transported by lorry to Ukraine.
On Tuesday, Inner Wheel held a pre-AGM lunch at the South Pembrokeshire Golf Club, where after a successful year in office president June Willcocks handed over to joint presidents Marcia James and Elizabeth Gale. (Pics supplied)
