Sarah started her journey as an apprentice with Achieve More Training, Ltd two years ago in February 2023. She was, and still is, a Teaching Assistant at Ysgol Harri Tudur, Pembroke…

Sarah had already gained the relevant Level 2 qualification and is an experienced member of staff.

After consultation with Ysgol Harri Tudur, Sarah wanted to further her professional development by completing the Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. This meant continuing to work in school as normal and studying for the Level 3 in her own time.

Sarah worked very hard and was very consistent in not only attaining her targets, but quite often would go beyond what was asked and was very soon ahead of the expected progress. Achieve More Training, Ltd had regular contact with Sarah and Ysgol Harri Tudur and every report and conversation was very positive about Sarah’s attitude and work ethic in school.

Upon completion of her Level 3, Sarah was asked if she had any further learning needs. She expressed an interest in the sport qualifications we offer. Sarah was already an experienced football coach and wanted to gain a Level 2 in Instructing and Exercise Fitness. This would enable her to help the learners in Ysgol Harri Tudur to use the gym equipment at Pembroke Leisure Centre, which is on the same site as Ysgol Harri Tudur.

Sarah is making excellent progress in the Level 2 and should be completed before the end of the academic year. If Sarah’s thirst for learning remains unquenched, Achieve More Training, Ltd offers a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification for her to get her teeth into!
