A Haverfordwest man has been committed to prison for eight weeks for domestic violence.
On January 7, Darren Markes, of Cartlett House, breached a domestic violence protection order made by Llanelli Magistrates Court on December 18 last year.
Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on January 8, Markes admitted to making direct contact, entering property and committing violence, all in breach of the order.
Committing him to prison for eight weeks, magistrates stated the the seriousness of the offence as the reason for the custodial sentence and because “the defendant has a flagrant disregard for court orders.”
