This month the ‘Tit Club’ afternoon tea and raffle has raised the wonderful sum of £2,226 in aid of Breast Cancer Now. The ladies who have all had a breast cancer diagnosis decided to hold the event to raise funds for the charity as well as to increase awareness of the disease. 

It was held in the Village Hall at Angle, near Pembroke, on August 10 over two sittings by Julie James, Jane Lewis, Jude Scourfield, Judith Davies and Jan Davies, ably assisted by Kathy Jones, Kath Lunn, Jo Richards, Becky James, Shania Morris and Joy James.

Since the presentation an extra £30 has been raised, increasing the total to £2,256.

The money raised will assist in research and to help those people diagnosed with breast cancer throughout their treatment and beyond.
