The community of Narberth in Pembrokeshire came together for a Cawl Mawr St David’s Day celebration at the Queens Hall, followed by a litter pick.
The free-to-enter annual lunchtime event on Friday, March 1 offered free cawl or vegetable soup, alongside choir performances and children’s crafts.
After lunch - the 4th Big Soup event staged by the Queens Hall in partnership with Plastic Free Narberth - diners were encouraged to collect a litter-picker and help to spruce up the town ready for spring.
Plastic Free Narberth regularly picks up discarded litter for recycling or safe disposal.
