A FESTIVAL of Angels takes place at St Michael and All Angels Church, Cosheston on Saturday, December 21, 10am-3pm, in advance of the village’s Sunday carol service.

The Festival offers an opportunity to see the creations of many talented people depicting angels in many different ways. Cosheston School, WI, craft group and History group are among those taking part in creating some amazing displays.

There will be hot drinks served, small cakes available and from noon onwards, glitter tattoos, fun crafts for the children.

Missing: Have you seen a host of angels? They were due to arrive at church, but have gone missing! Keep an eye out when you’re in the village and help them find their way to church for the carol service!

On Sunday, December 22, all are welcome to a service of Traditional Lessons and Carols starting at 4pm, with mulled wine and mince pies served afterwards.

Then on Christmas Eve, Cosheston Church invites you to celebrate the birth of Christ with the first Mass of Christmas. The Midnight Mass starts at 11pm on December 24.
