Top stylist and hairdresser Andrew Price gave a helping hand to four generations of a family on the weekend as they underwent a charity crop to raise funds for a worthy cause.
Taking part in the headshave for Cancer Research were eighty-one-year-old Patricia (Pat) Willars of Jameston, fifty-nine-year-old Angela Lewis of New Hedges and her daughter Lowri Lewis of Begelly, along with youngster Haydn Clark (Pat’s great grandson) of Llanteg (all pictured).
“Andrew Price very kindly gave his time, and, in my garden, shaved the four of us. He also made a generous donation to our fundraising,” said Angela.
“While our original target was £1,500, we have now passed £2,000, so we are now hoping we may get as much as £2,500 for the cause!
“Cancer Research have lost out in the region of £44,000,000 because of closed shops and race for life being cancelled over the whole of the uk. Therefore it’s so important that.
“Wherever possible, we do our bit to help...and we’ll save on shampoo for a month or too!” added Angela, who said that her daughter Lowri would be keeping the fundraising page open on Facebook for another couple of weeks, if anyone else would like to donate.
