31 Aero 5s and 23 Aero 7s had a splendid week of competition, organised by Tenby Sailing Club.

Thanks go to all the members whose hard work and commitment made it such a successful event.

Local Sailors managed to squeeze in a race on Tuesday evening (August 22). 1st Dave and Maurice, Osprey; 2nd Dan and Matt, Osprey; 3rd Steve, RS 600.

On Saturday, conditions were perfect for three races. Dave Griffiths and Maurice Clark in Osprey 1365, Carpé Diem won two, and was 2nd in the other one. Overall results: 1st Carpé Diem; 2nd IC 344 Robin Wood; 3rd 2000, 22171 Jon Nuttall; 4th RS Feva 6613 Igor Otahal.

Cruiser Racing: The next race is scheduled for Wednesday September 6 at 10.00hrs.

Juniors: Congratulations go to two Tenby under 16s in the ILCA 4 Nationals at Hayling Island . 1st girl – Nina Marsh, 2nd girl – Amelia Nuttall (both pictured above).

On September 9 and 10, Junior trainees from Tenby and four other clubs can take part in the Welsh Dragon Series weekend being held here.
