The Annual “Lift-in” at Tenby has been arranged for Monday March 31, and Tenby Sailing Club is looking ahead to the season.
Racing and RYA Junior Training starts in April. Training sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from April 16 to August 27, with the exception of August 6 when all facilities will be in use for the triple Dinghy Championships taking place at that time.
Dinghy highlights will be: May 25-31 – Coppet week, in Saundersfoot; July 12-13 – TSC Regatta and Round Caldey race: August 2-8 – National Championships for GP 14, Enterprise, and Miracle classes; August 23-29 – National Redwing Championships.
Cruiser racing highlights will be the Annual Passage race from Pembroke Dock to Tenby, organised by Pembroke Haven Yacht Club, on June 14 with a return race on the 15th, and The Annual Round Caldey race on July 13.
Clubhouse: Quiz night is proving very popular, with the RNLI benefitting from the proceeds. The next quiz is this coming Saturday, March 1 at 8pm. Registration for Junior Training will be on April 2 and 9 in the Clubhouse from 6pm.
The club is issuing a final Reminder that from March 1, 2025, members are required to produce a valid membership card to access members' rates at the bar. Membership cards can be accessed through the MyClubhouse mobile app. For a limited period, bar staff will be able to manually check your membership status if you are unable to access your card by entering your name into their database. Dinghy park and Store 8 berth holders: Anyone with property in Store 8 or the Dinghy Park who has not renewed must remove their property by February 28, 2025. Any unauthorised boats which remain after this date may be removed.
