Kilgetty AFC Under 13s Girls put in a top performance on Sunday playing away versus Goodwick.
The girls worked hard together as a team, pressing and defending so well. Giving 100 percent, they are growing stronger and developing skills as they bond together as a team.
Hard working, super talented Abigail took the first goal for Kilgetty. Seren (pictured), with skills that match her extreme energy and ability to cover almost all of the pitch, scored a hattrick, gaining her the Player Of The Match award, whist Lucia scored her first goal for the team. Goodwick battled back, especially in the second half, with their players showing some great football and working hard too.
The warm up and game were played using Fairtrade footballs donated by Fair Trade Wales, via the Fair Trade In Football Campaign. Kilgetty AFC thank them for their support.
Fairtrade guarantees a better deal for workers and farmers, ensuring worker’s rights, fair and safe work conditions with no forced or child labour. Every time we buy Fairtrade products a percentage of the cost, called the Fairtrade Premium, goes to the workers, this is used by the workers for the community to pay for things like education, clean water, or whatever the community needs.
