Saundersfoot Bowling Club are pleased to announce the continued sponsorship of their open week competition by the Heritage Park of Pleasant Valley.

Karl Watson, who owns the exclusive park and leisure homes site, has helped the club for some years and has been the main reason that the event has been able to continue following a funding problem which necessitated a postponement several years ago.

Fortunately, Berwyn Dennis approached Karl who thankfully offered to act as the main sponsor and the club has been extremely grateful for his support ever since.

Three years ago, the Heritage Park also assisted the club with the purchase of new shirts and the colour pink was chosen, with Karl and the members raising over one thousand pounds for cancer research.

As a thank you, a special shirt was recently presented to him by Berwyn and club treasurer Dai Davies for display in the Heritage Park office.
