Colby Lodge, in Amroth, is Grade II listed and was built in 1803 by local mine owner John Colby. 

In the 1870s, the estate become the property of the Kay family, and in the early 20th century was inherited by Colonel and Mrs Crosland, who were the main creators of the Woodland Gardens currently cared for by the National Trust. 

Period features of the house include moulded architraves, a coloured glass window, stone-vaulted cellars and Corinthian columns. 

Entering the home, the main hallway connects all of the principal rooms on the ground floor, with an archway on the left leading to the kitchen, which was remodelled by the current owners and includes a walk-in pantry.
