Pembrokeshire County Council are due to meet contractors in Amroth today (Monday) after a large hole appeared in the seaside village on Friday.
The hole in the road at the New Inn end of Amroth was reported to the authority before the weekend and inspected by a highways officer, with the council cordoning off the hole.
Amroth Community Council have warned motorists via social media with regards to the barriers around the hole, and the fact that there is not much room to pass.
A spokesperson for the county council stated: ”We have cordoned off the hole and are meeting contractors on site today to decide what the next step is.
“This could possibly be a temporary widening of the carriageway.”
