The condition of the Post Office depot building in Tenby has come in for criticism from a local councillor.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Maureen Ward, said that the building situated in Deer Park was an eyesore as people entered the town.
“You drive into Tenby and see the lovely historic town walls in the distance, and then you see that awful building before you! Can’t they replant trees in front of it!” she joked.
“Somebody needs to be rattled about the state of the building. All the houses along Deer Park look lovely, and then you’ve got that awful sight at the end of it,” she continued.
The town clerk told councillors that he would check who owned the premises.
