A stalwart supermarket worker in Tenby has been recognised by the Mayor and town council.
Saturday (July 2) was the last working day for Sainsbury’s staff member Gina Thomas, who started at the store 17 years ago, and has been a huge support to local customers and colleagues during the pandemic.
On behalf of the town council, Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Skyrme-Blackhall presented Gina with a scroll recognising her ‘hard work’ during the Covid crisis.
“Gina’s support has been greatly appreciated by the community,” said the Mayor, who is pictured with Gina and fellow store workers.
