A new ‘Chamber of Business’ has formed for Saundersfoot, with the aim of working to co-ordinate events for the seaside village - and to mark the announcement, a return to the calendar of one of the most popular events - the Saundersfoot Cawl Trail for St David’s Day.

Back, at the start of 2023, Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism (SCT) announced that after 24 years of hard work along with the support of members (mainly Saundersfoot businesses) and volunteers in successfully driving towards the ambitious target of making Saundersfoot ‘a village for all seasons’ - the organisation would be disbanding.

Since 1999, the Chamber for Tourism had been involved in delivering and developing a variety of events and features that had been enjoyed by both residents and visitors.

Now this month, a coffee morning meeting has been set up, inviting all business owners and traders locally, to attend.

“We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Saundersfoot Chamber of Business this year. This initiative aims to be business-led, bringing together local businesses to support and promote trade within Saundersfoot and its surrounding areas,” said Suzannah Palmer from the Saundersfoot Chamber of Business.

“To introduce the Chamber and discuss our vision, we invite all businesses within Saundersfoot and nearby areas to join us for a Coffee Morning.

“This will be an opportunity to network, share ideas, and discuss how we can work together to support and grow our local business community.

“We encourage all local businesses to attend the Coffee Morning and get involved. Your input and participation will be invaluable in shaping the future of the Chamber. We look forward to seeing you there.

“To kickstart our activities, we are excited to launch the Saundersfoot Cawl Trail, a highly popular event taking place on Saturday, March 1.”

The first meeting will take place on Monday, February 10, at 11 am, at The Hean Castle Inn.

The Saundersfoot Cawl Trail will return on place on Saturday, March 1, between 3 and 7pm

A Mug Collection Point will be in place for this event, again at The Hean Castle Inn, for participating pubs, restaurants and establishments.
