The funeral took place recently of Mr. Joseph Frederick Lloyd, of Cooksyeat View, Kilgetty.
Aged 82, he passed away on December 10 at Lighthouse Ward, Park House Court, Tenby.
He was a native of Enfield, London. After leaving school, he worked for Corfield and Tudor, radio and television in Newton, Powys, then opened his own radio and TV business in Llanfair Caereinion and was there for 29 years with his wife Gaynor, then bought Wide Horizons Caravan Park in Aberaeron which he ran until he retired in 1995.
His main interests were cycling, dancing, road rallying, badminton and travelling, mainly caravanning.
Family left to mourn: Gaynor (wife), Sandra Vaughan and Jo Thomas (daughters), David Vaughan and Rob Thomas (sons-in-law), Richard, Nicola, Rachel, Sam, Joe and Dan (grandchildren), also Clare and Ben (partners of Richard and Rachel), Ollie, Ruby, Richard, Sam, Joe and Dan.
The funeral service took place at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, on Thursday, December 21. Rev. Huw George officiated.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made for the Parkinson’s Group, Honeyborough, c/o E. C. Thomas and Son, funeral directors, Zoar Chapel Funeral Home, Llanteg, who carried out the arrangements.

Wooden
The funeral took place recently of Mrs. Margaret Lewis, of Pencoed Care Home, Wooden.
Age 90 years, she passed away on December 9 at Pencoed Care Home.
A native of Whitehaven, Cumbria, she worked as a nurse and administration in the Army. She was posted to Egypt in 1949, where she met her husband Ivor and they married in Egypt. They lived in Cyprus, Aden and various Army bases in UK. They moved to Pentlepoir in 1984 when Ivor retired.
She was predeceased by her husband Ivor.
The funeral service took place on December 22 at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, and a thanksgiving service at St. Johns, Tenby. Rev. Lorette Hinson officiated.

John Eric Tipton died peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, January 4 at Withybush Hospital. He was aged 100 years old. Formerly Hon. Curator of Tenby Museum, John was predeceased by his wife Margaret and is survived by daughters Penny and Anne, grandchildren Susie, Robert, Rupert, Natalie and Melissa and great grandchildren Louis, Raffy, Etta, Hamish, Amelia and Carolina, who will always remember happy times in Tenby with ‘Great’.
Cremation service which all are welcome to attend at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, on Tuesday, January 23, at 11.30 am, to be immediately followed by a Service of Celebration at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, at 1 pm.
