Following the Annual General Meeting of Saundersfoot Community Council - Clr. Bill Cleevely, handed over of the Chain of Office to Clr. Mike Wainwright, after he was elected as this year’s Chairman.

“It gives me great pleasure to be elected as this year’s Chairman of Saundersfoot Community Council - I am well aware of the footsteps I am following of past Chairs who have held this appointment,” remarked Clr. Wainwright.

“I would like to thank Clr. Cleevely for having me as his Vice Chairman even though it was only for six months because of Coronavirus.

“I would have liked twelve months training, but I am very fortunate to have plenty of experienced Councillors who I will be looking to for advice as and when needed.

“I’d like to thank Clr. Williams for having the belief in me to propose me, and Clr. Ludlow for being my Vice.

“I am looking forward to serving the village in any way I can. All councillors are available for contact by email or telephone,” he added.
