Kiln Park Service Station, the Gulf-branded forecourt situated at the entrance to Kiln Park Holiday Centre, has been shortlisted for this year’s Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards.
The awards, a highlight of the industry calendar and the pinnacle prize of petrol retailing, will be presented with full Hollywood razzmatazz in front of around 1,000 industry leaders, suppliers and forecourt owners at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London on Thursday, September 12.
“This nomination is the result of a fantastic collective effort from everybody associated with the forecourt, the entire team puts 100 per cent into the successful operation of the business day in, day out,” explained Chris Thomas, forecourt operations manager, Kiln Park Service Station. “We are thrilled to have been recognised and will continue to strive to set the highest standards of service for our customers locally and as part of the petrol retailing industry nationwide.”
Each of the finalists are considered the yardstick for petrol station standards such as appearance, facilities, cleanliness, staff interaction, friendliness, merchandising and convenience stores. Kiln Park Service Station has been nominated in the Best West Country & Wales Forecourt category following an intense judging process.
Craig Nugent, head of dealer sales for Certas Energy, the largest supplier to independent fuel retailers in Britain, including over 500 Gulf forecourts, has congratulated Kiln Park Service Station on its nomination.
