At the recent Wales in Bloom awards Saundersfoot Community Council were presented with a gold medal in the large village category.
Saundersfoot has been such a riot of feel-good colour recently and the Sensory Garden is looking particularly lush and this is down to a year long herculean effort which goes into maintaining this beautiful little haven in the centre of the village.
This is all down to the work of Councillor Martyn Williams BEM and Alwyn ‘Butch’ Lewis (pictured in the Sensory Garden).
Other volunteers in the community have also all played their part in tending to some of the colourful displays on show, such as Debbie Ludlow who could regularly be seen attending the beautiful planter displays near St Brides Hill.
Well done to all the volunteers and everyone who contributed to Saundersfoot’s gold medal victory.
