Dear Sir

People say “nothing happens in Tenby”. Read the new digital noticeboards outside the De Valence, or the notices on the boards just inside!

The De Valence organises lots of entertainment, some at nights and some during the day; and then things are happening in Augustus Place Community Hall, Tenby Museum, St Mary’s and St Johns Halls plus at the Old Chapel and other venues around Tenby.

Anne, Tenby’s Community Engagement Officer, is busy organising events like the Steampunk Festival with its Saturday parade, and lots of side happenings; a “Nearly Mayday Fair” on Sunday, April 28 with food, beer, craft and fun stalls and a Maypole in the Salterns Car park; a free community Fun Day in September and more…

Please try to support the entertainment provided for children, teenagers, young adults and the older generations, all of whom are provided for now. I was very surprised to go to an afternoon circus show in the De Valence and find only two children there!

Read Anne’s blog (www.annedraperblog.wordpress.com) or call in to the De Valence to find out what’s going on in Tenby, and GO to the entertainment to enjoy yourself, and to help keep entertainment happening in Tenby!

Thank you.

Shirley, (Anne’s Mum)
