Having completed a successful week of Panto playing the cow, Bessie, in the wonderful production of Jack and the Beanstalk, Paul and Stefan Fifield have already turned their thoughts to next year’s show. They are keen to attend the auditions in the New Year.

Auditions will take place, for anyone aged 14 and over, in the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, on Sunday, January 5, at 1 pm.

If you can act, sing or dance, Saundersfoot Footlights want you to join them on a trip to Harvard as they prepare for their production of ‘Legally Blonde!’

Legally Blonde tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrols at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, no one has faith in Elle, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting after the auditions.

Legally Blonde will be performed during Spring Bank Holiday week, Monday, May 26 to Saturday, May 30, at 7.30 pm.

We also welcome volunteers who would like to help the ‘behind the scenes’ departments of costume, lighting and sound, scenery and kitchen to support the cast in providing another ‘Best Show Yet!’
