TODAY a young business owner in Pembroke has been interviewed as part of filming for a popular television series.

George Parfitt, of Main Street Music in Pembroke had a fun morning last Tuesday, being interviewed by the crew from BBC‘s Escape To The Country who are filming a segment on Pembroke.

They spoke about the local music scene and the joys of being a young business owner in Pembrokeshire.

“The whole experience was very enjoyable as the film crew were extremely professional and friendly from the start,” said George.

“They asked me what it’s like to own and run a business in Pembroke at only 26 years old, which I explained has been an incredible journey so far.“

“There’s a lot of support for the next generation of young business owners in Pembrokeshire, which I’m very proud to be a part of,” he added. “It’s subtle reminders like this that make you realise what an impressive town we have.”

Escape to the Country is a series that helps prospective buyers find their dream home in the country. The episode filmed today will be aired within two to six months, so keep an eye out for Pembroke on your TV.
