Through the power of cinema, the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven invites you to join the LGBT+ community in recognising and commemorating this significant month with three films at £5 per head and a further three 30-minute short films free.

Showing on Sunday, February 9 at 7.15pm is India's 1st Best Trans Model Agency (15). This emotionally charged journey, filmed over seven years, follows the extraordinary story of Rudrani Chettri and her friends from baby blessings, red light districts and dazzling Hindu festivals to the glamorous world of photoshoots, designers, hair and make-up, lights and electrifying action.

Carol (15) will be screened on Friday, February 28 at 7.30pm. When Carol walks into a New York City department store and meets Therese an unlikely friendship sparks. Carol is an elegant socialite going through a bitter divorce while Therese is just starting out in life; unsure of who she wants to be. Mesmerised by each other, they face a choice: deny their hearts desires or defy society’s conventions but in doing so, risk life as they know it.

Also on Friday, February 28, prior to the screening of Carol, the Torch will screen three short films for free showcasing a powerful celebration of lesbian experiences through the art of film directed by the talented Eleanor Capaldi. The first is Bookmarks, longlisted for the 2025 Excellence in Female Direction award. Fizzing is the second - a coming of age drama in which gender non-conforming teen Erin has to navigate her mum's objections to telling her gran she's gay. The third short free film is Glue where two exes meet up for the first time in a while with conflicting motivations.
