Lego and Christmas Crafts: This Friday, December 8, the regular Lego Club becomes a Lego and Christmas Crafts session, hosted by the Family Information Service. It’s at the usual time of 3pm-4.30pm, and as usual there is no booking needed, just drop in and stay as long or as short a time as you like.

Christmas Carols and Coffee: Next Monday, December 11, the Library and the Community Learning Centre are jointly hosting a coffee afternoon; there will be hot drinks, mince pies, and musical entertainment from the choir. The festivities start at 3.30pm, and it’s all free.

Letters to Santa: Santa’s Post-Box is still taking Christmas letters, but remember the last date for posting is Tuesday, December 12. There is writing paper at the Library, or you can use your own, Santa won’t mind. Don’t forget to put your name on the letter, so that Santa knows who to reply to! The replies will be ready for collection from Monday, December 18, the last week before Christmas.
