After a tough year for arts organisations across the country, the Torch wants to give something back to everyone who visits by making a trip to the cinema more affordable for all.

So as a big thank you to its supporters, the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, will be offering £5 cinema tickets as part of a Winter Sale.

The Winter Sale will run from January 19 to February 29 and will provide some much-needed fun and entertainment during the cold and wet days.

Artistic Programme Coordinator Janine Grayshon is hoping that many will attend the cinema to see the array of films on offer, including The End We Start From - starring the incredible Jodie Comer, the controversial biopic Priscilla, and - of course - the adorable Peppa Pig!

Janine said: “We are delighted to be offering discounted cinema tickets. The Torch has received so much support from our community so what better way to say thank you than by making a cinema trip more affordable? With such a great line up of films, I’m sure there’s something for everyone! And don’t forget to pick up your cinema loyalty card at the Box Office for even more benefits.”

The Torch Theatre is a welcoming place for all ages and from January to March it will also host a brand-new programme called A Warm Space at the Torch suitable for those over 50. The free to attend activities on offer include drama, painting, yoga and a book club, made possible due to support from the National Lottery Community fund.

Tim Howe, Senior Manager, Youth and Community said: “We know that having the opportunity to access safe and regular creative connections supports everyone’s mental health and well-being, so our fortnightly rolling programme of events will allow people to choose from a range of hands-on activities. Each session also includes tea and coffee, as well as plenty of time to chat and catch up with friends.”
