Club members were enthralled with stunning photography and video from Steven Clarey, who is from Carmarthen but lives in Tenby.
When Steven took a degree course in Film and Media at Trinity St David, he discovered a passion for the creativity of photography. His interests include Motorsport, Rally Cross, Water Sports and many other action sports, so his career took him in that direction, being employed by many major companies including Ford and Panasonic, as well as specialist magazines.
Steven’s skills to get ‘that special shot’ are impressive. It does put him under substantial pressure which then dissolves when he sees the resulting images or film. His surfing shots were exceptional! His storytelling was amusing and informative; his work ethic refreshing. He survived a cyclone in Mozambique while out there filming. Currently, he spends much of his time in Switzerland working with The House of Drones, developing further skills in Drone photography.
Club meetings commence again in the New Year, January 9 with the judging of the 2nd Open Competition. The Committee wishes all members and followers a very Happy and Healthy Christmas.
