Over 40 members listened and watched a film show by Jack Gradidge from Folly Farm Conservation.
He spoke on the history of Folly Farm at last Wednesday’s meeting, with members remembering “milking” cows and bottle feeding young animals. Then the members learnt all about how the “farm” became a zoo that conserves animals that are on the rare list. A very interesting afternoon was enjoyed by all the members.
Today, Wednesday 15, Vicky is giving a short talk, and members will be playing board games, and also some games of kurling, with plenty of time to chat to each other.
Next Wednesday, November 22, Sam from the Library is coming to talk to the club at 2pm at Augustus Place Hall.
