Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum is saying a “big thank you” to everyone who attended Pembrokeshire ‘Living Coast’ 2025 this year.
The organisers said it was “fantastic” to come together and celebrate our coastline at the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven on Sunday, March 9.
The forum expressed especial gratitude to the host for the event, Nick Ainger, for guiding the evening so smoothly, and extended their thanks to three ‘wonderful’ speakers.
These were Nicola Davies - who shared insights from How to Speak Whale, giving a fascinating glimpse into the communication of these incredible marine mammals, Dr Matt Wood – whose enthusiasm for seabird populations and island ecosystems made for a truly engaging talk, and Sue Burton – who brought her expertise in marine conservation to the fore, sharing stories of Pembrokeshire’s otters and their unique coastal habits.
They have also been celebrating all the talented winners in this year’s photo competition:
“Congratulations to our photo competition winners, whose images beautifully captured the essence of our living coast.”
Winners were as follows:
Children’s Wildlife: 1st Tomos Roberts ‘From the Kingfisher Hide’; 2nd William Rawlings ‘Common Blenny’; 3rd Kit Roberts ‘Go your own way’.
