This Saturday is the annual Christmas Pembroke Soup, and it will incorporate lots of arts, crafts and music.
Starting at 1pm and finishing at 2.30pm on November 18 at 1pm at Pembroke Town Hall, you pay £5 to enjoy a bowl of homemade soup whilst listening to the Paul Sartori Foundation explain what they do, how they do it and what help they may need. They will also be bringing a selection of Christmas cards. All soup money will be donated straight to Paul Sartori.
Other community groups who have spoken this year will have a tabletop to display or sell their wares - Menshed, offering friendship and purpose by pooling their creative talents; VC Gallery, offering art and creativity to promote health and wellbeing; Esteam - a learning provider who, with use of printing skills and woodwork, create bags, cards, Christmas items; Welsh Ukelele Project and Tabernacle Garden Through Time. All are amazing in the work they do.
And in addition, Give the Boys a Lift - whose mission is to arrange counselling for those in need of urgent help - are invited to bring their coffee van to supply drinks needs and raise some funds.
So do go along and bring your neighbour to support what is being done to help in the neighbourhood.
