“Come and explore over 200 years of maritime, military and social history”
That’s the invitation from the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre for its ‘Family Activity Week’ during half term, from Monday, October 30 to Friday, November 3, 10am to 4pm.
The Activity Week is aimed at families to raise the awareness of our local heritage to the local community and visitors. The week will offer a variety of exciting and entertaining events for young people. Kids will go free for the week.
Housed in Wales’ only Georgian military chapel, the Heritage Centre tells the remarkable story of Pembroke Dock and its transformation from Royal Dockyard and garrison town to the world’s largest wartime flying boat station and the birthplace of the Star Wars’ iconic ‘Millennium Falcon’.
