With the successful launch of Llys-y-frân Lakeview Campsite in July this year, Welsh Water has decided to reopen the seasonal campsite for a one-off week for October half term visitors.
Hardstanding pitches are available from Friday, October 27 to Friday, November 3. Visitors can immerse themselves in nature and enjoy a host of exciting activities. Have a go at some watersports, explore scenic bike routes and follow our walking trails for some unforgettable memories. Visitors will have full access to the visitor centre, shop and café.
This is the first time that Welsh Water has opened and operated accommodation in Wales.
Llys-y-frân Lake Attraction Manager Mark Hillary said: “Lakeview Campsite is the first of its kind across Welsh Water, we are the only visitor attraction within the Welsh Water portfolio to have onsite accommodation. It’s a very exciting addition to our offering here at Llys-y-frân and feedback from summer visitors to the campsite has been extremely good. We currently attract a review score of 9.8 on Pitchup.com. We are looking forward to having the campsite open for a full season next year and welcoming visitors from all over the world.”
