Hundleton WI’s annual general meeting was held at Gilead School Room on Tuesday, November 1.

President Carolyn Monk welcomed invited tellers Audrey Brown and Kathryn Davies of Bosherston WI to the meeting.

The new 2022/23 Committee members are: Margaret Luff – President, Margaret Davies – Secretary, Sheila Evans – Treasurer, Jayne Smith, Margaret Brown, Carolyn Monk, Jan Whitehead, Pauline Charlett and Pat Preece.

A programme planning meeting was arranged for the new committee at Margaret Luff’s house.

The two tellers judged the monthly competition, ‘A Bonfire Treat’ and the winners were: 1st Margaret Luff; 2nd Jayne Smith; 3rd Margaret Brown.

Hundleton WI will host the Group Carol Service at Hundleton Church on Friday, December 16 at 7pm. Refreshments will be served in the Church Hall following the service. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The next meeting will be held at Gilead School Room on Tuesday, December 6. The guest speaker will be Mr Adrian Cook who will give a Christmas cookery demonstration. Will all members please bring a plate of food for the Christmas Buffet and a gift for ‘Secret Santa’.
