Attention all dance fans! The ambitious and engaging National Dance Company Wales presents Pulse at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven on Thursday, April 27
Pulse features two very different physically thrilling dance works to get your pulse racing – Waltz and Say Something.
Taking Wales to the world and reflecting the world in Wales, Waltz by Marcos Morau is a haunting waltz played in the distance. From the ashes a tangle of shining creatures emerge to inhabit a new world. In the chaos and turbulence their only hope is to remain united.
If you enjoyed the electrifying choreographic world of Tundra in 2017, this is another chance to experience work by Morau, the trailblazing Spanish choreographer.
NDCW dreams of a Wales celebrated as a nation passionate about dance and dancing, where dance is part of everyone's life. Their collaborative activity seeks out and nourishes potential, supporting Wales and all of its people to flourish, championing the development of dance as an art form and this powerful evening of dance is no exception with the second half of Waltz featuring Say Something by Sarah Golding & Yukiko Masui (SAY).
It explores what it means to 'represent', and the ever-growing expectation to have a voice. Working with beatboxers MC Zani and Dean Yhnell, this new work is a relentlessly physical, visual and a sonic feast.
SAY have a passion for music and will make you want to get up and groove.
Pulse will visit the Torch Theatre, Pembrokeshire on Thursday, April 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office on 01646 695267 or visit torchtheatre.co.uk.
