A NARBERTH ladies’ choir is looking forward to being the main attraction at a special festive night of musical entertainment in Saundersfoot.

Serendipity Ladies’ Choir will be singing at the Regency Hall in the seaside village on Friday December 20.

There will also be performances by talented baritone Martyn Davies, Saundersfoot Primary School children and trombonist Ianto Evans.

The Serendipity choir was formed eight years ago and musical director Juliet Rossiter now leads 50 members who practise in Narberth on Monday evenings.

“I joke that the choir has done eight Christmas concerts whilst I have only managed seven,” said Juliet who missed one of them after she was called for a kidney transplant.

“They did brilliantly without me of course,” she continued, adding an intriguing hint about song choices for the annual fundraising concert: “This time we will be singing some old favourites such as O Holy Night and we have also been working on some new numbers to blow people’s socks off.”

Serendipity’s Christmas Concert is at 7.30pm Friday December 20. Tickets (£12) will be available on the door.
