Preparing for Saturday’s Cosheston Charity Open Gardens event, residents planting the village entrance area were pleased to thank Upton Castle for their participation in two days of fundraising for a brain tumour charity.
Cosheston Village Hall will open at 10am on Saturday, June 15, to sell the programmes and £5 entry wristbands (children free). Admission covers 12 gardens and Cosheston school from 10am until 4.30pm as well as discounted entry to Upton Castle Gardens on the Sunday.
Attractions include displays by the Flower Barn from Cresselly, Cosheston History Group, porcelain flowers and plant stall as well as refreshments provided by Cosheston WI. In the afternoon, demonstrations include planting a sedum basket and a table floral display.
Event organiser Jane Mason said: “There has been a great effort from all the residents and local community who are helping to support and run the event in many ways. Thanks to all and, whatever the weather, we know we will have a great time and raise money for the braintumourcharity.org.”
