A MAJOR charity auction will be taking place in Tenby, with all proceeds going to the James Criddle Foundation.
James Criddle of Saundersfoot, who had been living Bali for the past couple of years, suffered a brain injury sustained through an accident on his bike on July 15, and after enduring a seven-hour surgery to relieve the pressure from his brain, was put in an induced coma, but sadly passed away in the early hours of July 21.
“The James Criddle Foundation has been set up to help those most vulnerable in society, especially the homeless and underprivileged including those suffering with mental health difficulties, said a spokesperson for the event.
“This charity day will help to raise money for this fantastic foundation and to ensure his legacy lives on. ”
The charity auction, which takes place next Friday, August 19, promises to be a day of live music, barbecue, raffle and a huge auction.
The venue is Didi Dens Café and Lounge Bar (sister of the Dennis Café) on the slipway to Castle Beach in Tenby. Join in from 12 noon on the day.
