Following on the coat tails of the first highly successful course of Scratch Cooking, Tenby’s budding ‘master chefs’ are now halfway through the second lot of classes and what a pleasure it is to see the learner cooks producing great meals for themselves and having fun in the process.

Seasonal baking was the theme of this week’s lesson and oaty apple crumble and plum upside-down cake on the menu.

The course runs for six weeks, covers a wide range of basic foodstuffs and gives learners the tools to not only feed themselves well, but economically.

Scratch Cooking lessons are run in the kitchen of the Old Chapel in Lower Frog Street. They are free, informative and fun. To sign up to the next course ring or WhatsApp Rebecca on 07816 659089.
