Dosbarth Goscar from St Teilo’s Catholic Primary School in Tenby joined the Dragon LNG Darwin Experience recently for a field trip exploring local wildlife at the Stackpole Estate.

The day (July 15) started in the beautiful grounds of Stackpole Court, a site with a diverse range of habitats looked after by the National Trust.

The class took part in two activities investigating terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems. They searched for minibeasts in the woodland and went pond dipping at the hidden bridge, learning about lots of different invertebrates, their adaptations for survival and why they’re important.
