A Pembroke Dock resident will stand trial for alleged littering later this month.

The 36-year-old from Wavell Crescent pleaded not guilty to throwing down a cigarette butt and leaving it in Argyle Street, Pembroke Dock, a place to which section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies.

It is an offence to deposit and leave any litter in any place to which this section applies.

The case was adjourned for trial to August 21 in Courtroom 01, Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court.
