With the new kerbside collections rolled out on Monday by Pembrokeshire County Council, a local county councillor for Penally has welcomed any feedback - positive or negative - on the new scheme.

With the first Penally collection being rolled out on Wednesday, November 6, in his recent report that went before members of Penally Community Council, Clr. Jon Preston said that he welcomed responses to how the scheme had started so that any issues could be dealt with swiftly.

“Having said that, we should allow for a transitionary period and understand that this is a new service and some issues may initially occur, so it is important that we raise these matters as soon as they become apparent,” said Clr. Preston.
