Forty members of Tenby Friendship Club met in Augustus Place Hall for Mick Brown’s talk on the Falkland Islands. The photos were terrific, so many different birds, seals, penguins, and albatrosses.

The Islands are very different to the UK with no trees (except imported ones) and really no roads. The settlers are so friendly to all who visit, however, offering them homemade cakes at break times, and taking tourists everywhere in their own vehicles.

When Mick asked who had visited the Falklands, Shirley was the only one!

On January 22, Andi will be talking about St Catherine’s Island. New members over 60 are welcome, just head to the hall to be there before 2pm.
