IT’S that time of year for the Manorbier Newton Fundraisers to hold their annual ‘Soup and Pudding’ lunch at Lamphey Village Hall.

The date to put in your diaries is Saturday, February 15, 11.30am-1.30pm.

The event promises a wealth of culinary delights and will help raise - hopefully - lots of money for three wonderful and worthy local charities. They are the Trussell Trust, the Pembrokeshire Food Bank at Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven-based children’s bereavement charity Sandy Bear and Homeless Pembrokeshire.

Be tempted with tasty soups and a stunning selection of hot and cold desserts. Mmmm! Shall it be Pavlova? Chocolate roulade? Bread and butter pudding? Too many to choose from - maybe you will have to have a takeaway as well!

There will be a fabulous raffle and takeaways. The important thing is while you are enjoying catching up with old friends, relaxing, having a treat, it is comforting to know you are supporting super charities.
