Churches Together in Tenby has organised a Sea Sunday Service next Sunday, July 21 outside St Julian’s Chapel near Tenby Harbour.

Everyone is invited to the service, which starts at 3pm

Sea Sunday has been a day set aside each year for the past 180 years for people in our community to give thanks to seafarers (1.9 million today) who quietly, and often anonymously, transport up to 95 per cent of the world’s goods.

Sea Sunday represents a chance to bring visibility to seafarers and sea-faring ministries in our communities, and to celebrate all they do for us.

It is also a chance to give thanks to God for the RNLI, who bravely face the danger and unpredictability of the sea to help save lives.
