ONCE again two pairs scored way beyond the rest at Penally Bridge Club.

Top on February 3 were Kath & Paul B. with a grand score of 69.05%, a smidgeon above Geoff & Paul V. with 68.25%. Everyone else languished 20 or more points below.

Due to a scoring error the previous week, the top two pairs were reversed. We should have been congratulating Geoff & Paul V. with their great score of 69.27%, including a Slam bid and made. Brenda & Alan were close behind with an amended score of 67.71%.

Penally Bridge Club meets each Monday at 1.15pm in the Village Hall. Visiting Bridge players and their partners are always welcome. Just go along and enjoy a pleasant afternoon with them.—JCG
