Four Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild members have been recognised for 30 years’ fundraising service to the RNLI.

Una Birtwhistle, treasurer Penny Blackborow, vice-president Vilma Polhill, Jenny Sucksmith and their guests were honoured with invitations to join awardees from across the nation at a special Royal Garden Party Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the RNLI at Buckingham Palace in May.

Vilma and Jenny were unable to accept their invitation. During their service to Pembroke Guild for the charity, they have also devoted much time fundraising to support Angle Lifeboat Station with Pembroke Haven Yacht Club.
